Initial professional experience during his commercial apprenticeship in a legal and notary services office in the town of Zurzach.
Soon moved on to the financial center of Zurich, where he experienced the real estate bubble of the late 1980s first hand while working in the Mortgage Department of Swiss Bank Corporation.
In the early 1990s he joined a real estate firm specializing in the luxury market.
There he was responsible for financing and valuations, but also provided significant support on the sales end.While in this job, he attended and graduated from the School of Management (HWV) in Zurich.In 1993 Daniel joined the Corporate Finance Department of Credit Suisse.
1998 International Banking School (IBS) in Chicago.
Founder of Independent Credit View together with Peter Jeggli in 2003.
