Morrison is a Managing Director & Senior Analyst at Global Hunter Securities LLC.
Prior to joining Global Hunter Securities, he was the founder and managing partner of Estacado Strategic Partners, an investment partnership focused on the exploration and production and oilfield services sectors.
Befoere that, he co-founded Aperion Group, providing independent equity research, sales, and trading to institutional clients.
His career in the financial services industry began in equity research with middle market investment banks including Rauscher Pierce & Refnes (now RBC Capital Markets) and J.C.
Bradford & Co. (now UBS).
His energy career included positions with Exxon Company, USA, and Merit Energy, primarily in acquisitions and business development roles.
He has spent the past 23 years in the energy industry in a wide variety of roles including operations, acquisitions, equity research, and asset management.
Mr. Morrison has a B.S.
in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
