Christoph Breidert

Dr. Christoph Breidert is Venture partner at PONTIS Venture Partners.
He is responsible for the analysis, evaluation, and accompaniment of investments deals with a technological focus.
In 1999, Dr; Breidert founded BMSO New Media GmbH together with four partners.
The company created a hugely successful online-charity game named entitled onium.com- the help company in co-operation UNICEF and WWF.
The game was run by BMSO until 2002 and during this time numerous participants won lucrative prizes while at the same time generating large donations for UNICEF and WWF.
He was the creative mind behind the project as well as the CEO of BMSO New Media GmbH.
One year later Dr. Breidert founded a second company GmbH together with six partners.
The company realises software projects in the field of content management, e-business, and e-learning with a technological focus on J2EE and XML.
His responsibilities included strategic product development, software development of core components, as well as project and key account management.
After selling his shares in the two companies in 2002, he worked as a research assistant and lecturer in the Department of Information Business at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration until joining the PONTIS team.
