Dr. Chongyang Luo is a Director-Technology at Revolution Capital Group LLC.
With over a decade of experience in technology research and business development, he is responsible for all technology related matters in M&A due diligence and also for Revolution's portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Revolution, Dr. Luo founded the software and web application development firm Telligem.
He has also worked as a Research Engineer at telecommunications chip maker Anadigics Inc. and also with Silicon Valley startups Phosistor Technologies and OptoNet Inc. He has advised US and Asian companies in areas such as semiconductor, manufacturing, renewable energy, and software/web ventures.
Dr. Luo received his B.S.
in Applied Physics from Tsinghua University in China and his Ph.D.
in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
He is married and has a daughter.
