The firm was founded in 1987 and was formerly known as Deutsche Asset Management (Asia) Ltd. They changed their name into DWS Investments Singapore Ltd. in 2019. DWS-SG offers investment management services to individuals and institutional clients throughout Asia, and distributes a range of investment products managed within the parent group. The Singapore office is the center of excellence for all Asian investment operations outside Japan and manages Asian investments (excluding Japan) for a worldwide clientele. They also manage Singapore-domiciled unit trusts.
