He began his career at James Capel in 1969, moving to McAnally Montgomery, a smaller firm of private client stockbrokers, in 1976, before they merged with Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management in 1982.
In 2004 Laing & Cruickshank were acquired by UBS, where he became a member of the Investment Committee.
In 2006 he joined Cheviot Asset Management, where he also sits on the Investment Committee.
Mr. Tullett became a member of the Stock Exchange in 1985, and is now a member of the Securities and Investment Institute.
He is a trustee of a number of charitable trusts.
