Santander Asset Management UK Ltd. (SAM-UK), is the wholly-owned Great Britain-based asset management subsidiary of Santander Asset Management Investment Holdings Ltd., ultimately held by Banco Santander SA (NYSE: SAN) in Spain. The firm was founded in 1987 and formerly known as Abbey National Asset Managers Ltd. Headquartered in Glasgow, SAM-UK manages funds on behalf of other Santander group entities as well as retail investors. It also manages a small number of segregated corporate portfolios.

HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd. (HSBC GAM-UK) is the wholly owned asset management subsidiary of HSBC Global Asset Management Ltd., ultimately part of HSBC Holdings plc (LON: HSBA, ADR: HSBC) in Great Britain. Headquartered in London, HSBC GAM-UK was founded in 1985 and acts as a discretionary investment manager that offers a wide range of investment solutions across equity, fixed income, liquidity and multi-asset strategies. Their clients include the Group’s retail and private banking customers, financial intermediaries and distributors and institutions.

(HCM-UK) is the London branch of Halbis Capital Management, established in 2005 through the aggregation of HSBC Alternative Investments with part of HSBC Asset Management. A subsidiary of UK-based HSBC Holdings Plc (LSE: HSBA; NYSE: HBC), Halbis Capital Management also has offices in Paris, New York and Hong Kong. Established in 2002, HCM-UK was formerly known as HSBC Halbis Partners (UK). Halbis Capital Management is organized in specialist investment management teams supported by the group's global resources and capabilities.
