Mr. Topps joined Vestor Capital in 2002 with responsibilities for the identification, valuation and monitoring of equity investments.
Prior to joining Vestor Capital, Mr. Topps was an associate for The Geneva Companies (a member of Citigroup), where he was involved in evaluating and marketing middle market M&A transactions.
He also served as a treasury analyst with Eaglemark Financial Services (subsidiary of Harley-Davidson) and senior accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mr. Topps holds a 1994 Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from St. Louis University.
He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
In addition, he is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago.
