He has worked in the industry since 1998.
Prior to joining American Century Investment Management in July 2009, Mr. Patel worked at Mackay Shields, where he was an international equity analyst, covering European small- and mid-cap companies.
Prior to Mackay Shields, he was a portfolio manager and equity analyst for Fiduciary Trust Company International, also focused on European small- and mid-cap companies.
Mr. Patel has a bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business from New York University.
