Altdorf, 20. Mai 2020 - Heute fand in Altdorf, Schweiz, die 12. ordentliche Generalversammlung der Orascom Development Holding AG statt. Aufgrund der ausserordentlichen Lage im Zusammenhang mit der Covid-19-Pandemie war die persönliche Teilnahme der Aktionäre ausgeschlossen. Der unabhängige Stimmrechtsvertreter vertrat 32'125'266 Namenaktien respektive 79.14% des ausgegebenen Aktienkapitals an der Generalversammlung.
Sämtliche Anträge des Verwaltungsrates wurden angenommen. Alle bisherigen Mitglieder des Verwaltungsrates und des Nominations- und Vergütungsausschusses stellten sich für ein weiteres Amtsjahr zur Verfügung und wurden wiedergewählt. Deloitte AG, Zürich, wurde als Revisionsstelle für das Geschäftsjahr 2020 bestätigt und Dr. Hansheiri Inderkum als unabhängiger Stimmrechtsvertreter für eine weitere Amtszeit bis zum Abschluss der ordentlichen Generalversammlung 2021 wiedergewählt. Weiter genehmigten die Aktionäre die beantragten Maximalbeträge für die Vergütungen an die Mitglieder des Verwaltungsrates und der Geschäftsleitung sowie die Wiedereinführung von genehmigtem Kapital.
