Mr. Ziad Shaaban is Head-Fixed Income at Egyptian Financial Group-Hermes Holding Co. and a Managing Director & Head of Fixed Income at EFG-Hermes Asset Management SAE.
Mr. Shaaban heads up the Fixed Income Group within Asset Management.
He joined EFG Hermes in 2007 to head up the Fixed Income Group and was responsible for structuring, financing, and advising on investment opportunities.
Prior to joining EFG Hermes, Mr. Shaaban worked in the credit derivatives division at JP Morgan in London since 2003.
Mr. Shaaban is a CFA Charter holder, holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut.
