DOGAN Investments, Inc. (DI) is the venture capital arm and a wholly-owned subsidiary of DOGAN Advisors, Inc., a self-described 'boutique investment bank' based on the southern island of Kyushu, whose shareholders include local institutions, both public and private. Established in 2005, DI is located in Fukuoka. The firm specializes in venture capital investing and manages investment funds. They focus of promoting regional economic development on Kyushu while paying attention to social, employment and corporate governance issues. DI's lead investors are local financial institutions and corporations. The firm manages joint investments for the utility construction company Kyudenko Corp. (TSE: 1959) and the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation.
