Timothy Ndambuki

The National Council of Churches of Kenya was founded in 1913 and is based in Nairobi, Kenya. The organization works to improve the lives of people in Kenya through various initiatives. One such initiative is the Community Resilience in Kerio River Ecosystem project, which aims to enhance intra and inter-county climate change governance in the Kerio River ecosystem. The project is implemented in partnership with the North Rift Economic Bloc and with funding from Dan Church Aid. The organization also advocates for civil rights, peace building, and development programs. The NCCK has a long history of working to improve the lives of people in Kenya, and has undergone several name changes to reflect the prevailing context.
