Taylor Ray

Mr. Taylor Ray joined Acumen Fund in September 2010 as a Fellow on the Business Development team.
He supports Acumen's efforts to raise capital and build a vibrant community of supporters.
He is a Tom Ford Fellow in Philanthropy from Stanford University's Haas Center for Public Service, and chose to spend his Fellowship year with Acumen Fund because of its unique position at the intersection of philanthropy and capital markets, and the philosophy of respect and dignity it applies to the beneficiaries of its investments.
Prior to Acumen, he worked for Support for International Change in Tanzania, developing its curricula and piloting microfinance projects for HIV/AIDS support groups.
Mr. Taylor Ray graduated from Stanford in 2010 with a BA with Honors in Psychology, and conducted his Senior Honors Research on ethical representation in charitable appeals.
