Sophie Galant

Sophie joined Upfront in 2022.
In her role as People Operations Manager, she supports Upfront’s portfolio companies across the entire employee life cycle, advising around best practices to set a strong people foundation as they build and scale their teams.
Previous to Upfront, Sophie started her career at Deloitte in the Human Capital consulting practice in San Francisco.
After Deloitte, she moved abroad to Shanghai where she led people operations for a tech start up in the food space, and subsequently a local hospitality group.
Sophie graduated from Claremont McKenna College where she earned a B.A.
in Organizational Studies and was a founding member of the college’s first Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
