Caplan, CFA MBA, is a Chief Executive Officer & Wealth Advisor at River Wealth Advisors LLC.
He has been developing investment strategies for high net worth investors for over two decades.
His focus is in in-depth investment analysis and developing disciplined financial strategies to manage risk.
His industry experience and deep understanding of the market help clients achieve secure financial futures.
Along with Mr. Ed O’Gorman, he founded River Wealth Advisors in 2015, a fee-only investment firm specializing in independent, comprehensive financial planning, investment management, business, estate and retirement planning.
His career began as a financial analyst with the Chrysler Corporation in 1983.
He then served in financial and business operational roles at large corporations, such as Pepsi-Cola, A.T.
Kearney, Inc., Touche Ross and Company, and Rite Aid.
Immediately prior to co-founding River Wealth Advisors, Bob was a partner with FMA Advisory for over 20 years.
He has served in leadership roles on several boards and committees, including Jewish Family Services and Harrisburg Academy.
He holds a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from Boston University.
He also earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Marketing and Operations Management from Columbia University.
He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
He currently serves as board vice chair for The Foundation for Enhancing Communities.
