SBI Funds Management Ltd. (SBIFM) is an independent India-based mutual fund management firm which was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between State Bank of India (63%) and Societe Generale SA (37%) in France. In 2009, Societe Generale and Credit Agricole SA merged their global asset management businesses, and in 2011, Amundi SA (owned 75% by Credit Agricole and 25% by Societe Generale) acquired Societe Generale's stake. Headquartered in Mumbai, SBIFM actively manages investor's assets not only through their investment expertise in domestic mutual funds, but also through offshore funds and portfolio management advisory services. Their clients are various financial institutions, pension funds, local and international asset management companies.

ING Investment Management (India) Pvt Ltd. (INGIM-IN) is majority owned by ING Investment Management (INGIM), the asset management division and a wholly-owned subsidiary of ING Groep N.V. (NYSE: ING). The parent company INGIM was founded in 1994 and provides asset management services to institutions, pension funds, insurances, fund distributors, foundations, high net-worth individuals and retail customers. They manage a range of global and regional investment products covering all asset classes. INGIM-IN was incorporated in 1998 and is located in Mumbai. The firm provides discretionary and pooled investment management services to an institutional, corporate and retail clientele, with a particular focus on high net-worth individuals. The firm manages the ING Vysya Mutual Fund, a trust comprising a family of equity, fixed-income and hybrid sub-funds. They are specialist investment managers focused on the Indian market.
