Peter Heffernan

Prior to joining CFI, Mr. Heffernan was responsible for developing the power generation business in Canada for Rolls-Royce where he established a successful and effective presence in the marketplace.
He was previously with Union Gas Ltd.
where he was responsible for developing and implementing the natural gas pipeline projects at Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) Lennox and Nanticoke thermal generating stations.
Mr. Heffernan was responsible for implementing several effective energy management strategies in the industrial and commercial sectors while at Ontario Hydro and prior to this was a successful project manager for an electrical contracting firm in Toronto.
He is well known in the energy sector for his contributions in restructuring the electricity industry in Ontario and in creating the Ontario Energy Association (OEA) where he served as Transition Board Chairman.
He has also served as a Director of the OEA, Ontario Natural Gas Association (ONGA), Canadian Gas Association (CGA) and Independent Power Producer's Society of Ontario (IPPSO).
Mr. Heffernan obtained his MBA from York University and his BSc from the University of Guelph.
