Nomcebo Mkhize

Nomcebo Mkhize is an investment executive of Imbewu responsible for investment activities of the company.
Prior to joining Imbewu, she worked for the Nedbank Capital Corporate Finance division where she advised on numerous transactions including the R1.2 billion capital raising for Enaleni Pharmaceuticals Limited to acquire Cipla Medpro (Pty) Limited, the listing of Enaleni on the JSE main board, a fair and reasonable opinion for Netpartner Investments Limited (“Netpartner”) on the offer by Network Healthcare Holdings Limited (“Netcare”), the restructuring of Netcare/Netpartner resulting in the buy-back of 20% of Netcare shares by Netcare and the subsequent formation of Lethimvula Limited, the tender sale of Be-Tabs Pharmaceuticals (Pty) Ltd and a fair and reasonable opinion for Paramount Property Fund on the offer by Growthpoint Properties Limited.
Prior to joining Nedbank, she spent four years in the financial services division of PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC” in their Johannesburg office and five months in their New York office.
Her client portfolio as an audit manager at PwC included amongst others, the Discovery Group, African Life, The Liberty Group, Hollard Insurance Company, SASRIA, Stanlib and Absa Fund Managers.
Ms. Mkhize holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of Natal.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
She served as General Secretary of the Johannesburg branch of the Association for the advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa ("ABASA") She is currently a director of Container Conversions (Pty) Ltd and GMA Logistics (Pty) Ltd.
