Taher is currently the Vice Chairman of the Jordanian Businessmen Association, Director at The University of Jordan, Director at the Central Bank of Jordan, Director at the Abdul Hamid Shoman Foundation, Director at the Royal Scientific Society, Director at the National Center for Human Resources Development, and Director at the Jordanian Scientific Research Society.
In the past, he was the Vice Chairman of The Arab Potash Co., Director at Arab Bank Plc, and Director & General Manager at Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. Plc.
Taher received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1966.
