Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe B, to serve customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, they operate from corporate headquarters based in Almere, the Netherlands. Its facilities cover more than 65.000 m2 of land in the Almere area. The core activities are the production of IC engine and electric forklift trucks, sales and distribution of material handling equipment, and sales and distribution of spare parts. They are one of the world-wide MCF group of companies: MCFE, MCFA based in Houston, USA, MCFS based in Singapore, MCFC based in Dalian & Shanghai and MHI in Sagamihara, Japan. Each group, with the exception of MCFS and MCFC, is responsible for design engineering, manufacturing and marketing the product lines and handling parts distribution in their respective regions. They understand the vital necessity of a strong presence in Europe. The product line manufactured in Almere covers approximately 95% of the European market requirements. Today, over 100 European suppliers contribute to 63% material content in its IC (Internal Combustion) forklift trucks and approximately 83% in its electric trucks. Its dealer networks serving its designated territories are composed of over 100 independently owned and operated dealers and distributors.
