Marcelo Horcel

Prior to joining JER Partners, Mr. Horcel previously worked for GE Capital for 10 years in offices in Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Italy and the US.
Most recently, as Managing Director of GE Real Estate Southern Europe, he was responsible for originating more than $2 billion of commercial real estate throughout Spain, Italy and Portugal, and overseeing a team of 35 employees.
He also held the position of General Manager Mexico for GE Capital Commercial Equipment Financing, where he oversaw the management of $1.2 billion in assets and 45 employees, as well as Managing Director, Banco GE Capital in Brazil.
He began his career at Naumann Gepp, a Brazilian-based, multi-national export company.
Mr. Horcel holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S.
in Business Administration from Fundação Lusiada.
He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
