Mr. Madl is responsible for moving inventions and new technologies from research to the market place.
The areas of activity include evaluating technologies and patents, facilitating innovation projects, identifying market chances and negotiating licensing contracts with industry partners.
He also holds frequently seminars for scientists and researchers in various aspects of IP and Innovation.
He headed the Austrian team for clinical research at a big pharmaceutical company and he had been responsible for product management, quality control and customer support at a startup company producing fully automated robot laboratories.
At the Austrian Research Centers he was in charge of international R&D collaborations and also for the business development of useful earth observation applications.
Lukas Madl has also served as an external expert for the European Commission in evaluating research and technology projects.
Mr. Madl studied genetics at Vienna University.
He greatly enhanced his knowledge by taking in-house and external courses while pursuing his career.
