Kris Bernie

Mr. Kris Bernie is a Portfolio Manager at Kapstream Capital Pty Ltd.
He is additionally responsible for macroeconomic research, asset allocation and interest rate and foreign exchange trading.
Prior to joining Kapstream in early 2022, he was a Portfolio Manager for seven years with First Sentier Investors.
As a senior member of the Australian Fixed Income team, he was responsible for generating alpha across both the rates and credit spectrum in Australian and global markets, and assisted in portfolio construction and design.
Before this he spent eight years in an institutional rates and credit sales role with National Australia Bank, covering central banks, banks, fund managers and State Government authorities.
He holds a Bachelor of Economics with first class honours from the University of Queensland, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from Finsia.
