Mr. Church joined Girard in 1998 following 19 years as the Chief Investment Officer of the Glenmede Trust Company which manages over $13 billion of client assets.
Mr. Church oversaw the investment strategy for all asset classes including domestic and international equities and fixed income and was the architect for Glenmede’s evolution as one of the nation’s premier trust companies.
Mr. Church continues to serve as Chairman of Glenmede’s multi billion dollar mutual fund complex.
Prior to joining Glenmede, Mr. Church was Vice President in charge of investment strategy for Girard Bank (now Mellon Bank).
In addition to earning a BA degree from Bowdoin College, Mr. Church also graduated from the National Graduate Trust School in Evanston, IL.
He is a member and past president of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia and a member of the Philadelphia Securities Association.
He was the 1998 recipient of the Philadelphia Financial Analyst Federation award of distinction.
Mr. Church has authored many business related articles on investments and mutual funds and appeared or been quoted in numerous media including CNBC, the Wall Street Journal, the Philadelphia Inquirer and USA Today.
