Jacques Mechelany

Jacques Mechelany has 23 years of experience in the financial markets.
He is the founding partner and Managing Director of HERITAGE FUND MANAGEMENT SA, the institutional asset management arm of HERITAGE BANK SA. a Geneva based Wealth management bank.
HERITAGE FUND MANAGEMENT manages and advises 5 different traditional and hedge funds, as well as dedicated portfolios for pension funds and institutional clients.
From 1984 to 1987, JM was managing institutional money at B.A.I.I.
in Paris and New York specializing in fixed income and convertible arbitrage.
From 1988 to 1991, JM headed the Warrants and Convertible market making team of Kleinwort Benson Securities in London and ran the firm’s nostro arbitrage book on these products.
From 1992 to 2004, he was managing High Net Worth Individual portfolios on a discretionary basis as Partner and Managing Director of Julius Baer Monaco, and Executive Director of Union Bancaire Privée in Geneva.
