Hiten Shah

Hiten Shah has nearly 25 years of merchant banking, strategy consulting and financial services experience covering UK and International markets.
Hiten was previously Director of International Development at Legal & General, a FTSE 50 company where he was responsible for originating and executing M&A transactions and distribution agreements in emerging markets including China and India.
Prior to L&G, he was Head of Corporate Development at Amlin Plc, a FTSE 250 company and a leading commercial insurer operating in the Lloyds of London market, where he led the establishment of Amlin Bermuda as well as a number of acquisition and capital markets transactions.
Hiten worked in corporate advisory initially with UBS and later with Hawkpoint, a leading advisory boutique where he was an Associate Director and focused on larger UK and European M&A transactions.
Hiten started his career as a Strategy Consultant with LEK Consulting in London, a global consultancy focused on strategy, mergers & acquisitions and shareholder value management.
Hiten graduated with first class honours in economics from Bath University and holds an M.Phil in Finance from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
