Mr. Dushyant Mehra is a Co-Chief Investment Officer at Hildene Capital Management LLC.
He joined Hildene in April 2016 from Pine River Capital Management where he was a Portfolio Manager in the Structured Products group focusing on investments in CLOs, Non-Agency RMBS, ABS CDOs, other esoteric ABS and Asset Based Lending transactions.
Mr. Mehra was also heavily involved in building out the quantitative models and infrastructure for investments in these products while at Pine River.
Prior to Pine River, Mr. Mehra was at Hudson Advisors (Lone Star Funds) for two years and was responsible for underwriting investments in Non-Agency RMBS and ABS CDOs, and also managed a small portfolio of mezzanine CLOs.
Prior to that, he spent four years at Bank of America Securities where he most recently was part of the Structured Portfolios Group and was responsible for workouts and liquidations of a distressed ABS CDO portfolio.
Prior to that he was part of the Structured Securities Group where he structured synthetic ABS CDO transactions.
He began his career building the quantitative framework behind Bank of America’s synthetic CDO structuring platform.
Mr. Mehra graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a BS in Computer Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics, and also holds a MS in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee.
