Benedict N. Kelly

Benedict Kelly has over twenty years of private equity experience.
Together with VenCap’s Director, Fund Investments, Tim Cruttenden, Senior Investment Manager, Michelle Ashworth, and Investment Manager, David Clark, he is responsible for the selection, execution and monitoring of fund investments across the US, Europe and Asia.
He is also primarily responsible for fund investment activities in India.
Prior to joining VenCap in 1998, Benedict Kelly was employed by the N M Rothschild & Sons banking group where he spent twelve years working in the private equity division, making direct investments in both early and development stage companies.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree (with honours) in Economic History and Politics from the University of Exeter and is a member of the Securities Institute.
