Tao Liu worked as a Manufacturing Manager at BorgWarner (Shanghai) Automobile Fuel Systems Co. Ltd.
from 1997 to 2004.
He then worked as the General Manager-China Operations at Metaldyne Powertrain Components, Inc. in 2005, and as the Manager-Delphi Steering at Aptiv (China) Holding Co. Ltd.
from 2006 to 2008.
In 2008, he became the Managing Director at Saginaw Steering (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.
for a year.
From 2008 to 2009, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Key Safety Systems, Inc. In 2016, he joined Nexteer Automotive Group Ltd.
and became the President & Global Chief Operating Officer in 2020 until 2021.
Mr. Liu received his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University in 1987 and his graduate degree from Purdue University in 2001.
