Grinnell Regional Medical Center enjoys the exclusivity of being a top rural medical center in the greater Poweshiek County area. The medical center includes around 40 physicians, and more than 425 employees. GRMC's 81 bed hospital with a continually growing medical staff serves approximately 40,000 residents. Each individual who enters its doors contributes to the mission of Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Each patient, physician, staff member, visitor, volunteer, EMC responder, or service supplier plays a key role in pulling together all the pieces of the GRMC healthcare picture. It is proud to present customers with more than 40 active physicians (including 15 family practice physicians, five emergency medicine physicians, two general surgeons, two anesthesiologists, two orthopedic surgeons, and one pain management specialist, three radiologists, one neurologist, one psychiatrist, one podiatrist, and one urologist). The medical center was founded in 1967 and is located in Grinnell, IA.
