Sonja Siewerth

Ms. Sonja Siewerth is a Manager at Sustainalytics GmbH.
She is part of Sustainalytics’ health care and chemical sectors and is the industry leader for the chemicals and household and personal products industry.
In this role, she takes part in stakeholder consultations with chemicals and household and personal products companies and regularly engages with major companies from the chemicals, household and personal products, and health care industries as part of the Sustainalytics research process.
She co-authored Sustainalytics’ industry reports on the chemicals and household and personal products sector and has been involved in key projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
She also contributed to Sustainalytics’ Country Research products and has been involved in account management for German and Swiss clients, assisting them to incorporate Sustainalytics’ ESG research into their investment decisions.
Her previous work experience includes a graduate research position at the Erasmus Centre of Behavioural Ethics, Erasmus University.
She holds a master of science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in sustainable development from a multi-stakeholder perspective (cum laude) from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
She also has a bachelor of science degree in International Business with a specialization in Finance from the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics and has completed an exchange semester at the Australian National University where she majored in social marketing.
She is also a Certified Expert in Microfinance (CEMF) and a working group member of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
