She started her career at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York where she represented financial institutions in corporate financing transactions covering acquisition finance, DIP financings, debt restructurings and in limited recourse, multiple source financings of power and other infrastructure assets including multilateral agency and export credit agency financings, commercial bank financings and capital markets transactions.
Ms. Khawaja has a B.A.
in Politics from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D.
from Columbia University School of Law.
She is a member of the bar of the State of New York.
