Sam Crowder

Sam joined Bain Capital Ventures at the beginning of 2022 and focuses on infrastructure and developer tools.
Sam is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio company support.
Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Sam was a backend software engineer at Rockset, a real-time analytics database startup where he built core platform features and data integrations.
Sam also worked briefly as a data engineer for Google Shopping and a product manager at Podium.
Sam graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in computer science and a minor in business strategy.
An SF Bay Area native, Sam now lives in San Francisco and enjoys playing sports, practicing guitar, and trying new restaurants.
