Rick D. Hausman

Mr. Rick D.
Hausman is a Director of Research at Clean Yield Group, Inc. Mr. Hausman joined Clean Yield in 1990 while finishing out his third term in the Vermont House of Representatives.
As a legislator, he advanced environmental protection, civil liberties, progressive tax policy, and divestment from South Africa.
Earlier, his roles included Peace Corps volunteer in the Ivory Coast, director of one of the Farm and Wilderness summer camps, and director of U.S.
Dept.
of Labor programs for disadvantaged persons in northeastern Vermont.
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Mr. Hausman served as chief financial officer, first for the community mental health agency tied to Dartmouth Medical Center and later for the community action agency based in Barre, Vermont.
He has served on a dozen nonprofit boards and is currently treasurer of three: Vital Communities of the Upper Valley of Hartford, Vermont, the Ninevah Foundation of Plymouth, Vermont, and the R&R Foundation of Bradenton, Florida.
He is also treasurer of Solar Works, Inc., of Montpelier.
Mr. Hausman holds a Masters in Public Health and a BA in Biology.
