The Prosurgics business started life in 1996, then named Armstrong Healthcare. The company was founded following the completion of an Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) feasibility study into possible applications for robotics in medicine and healthcare; this identified over 400 possible applications for robotics in medicine. Armstrong quickly focused down to the specific area of surgical robotics, and over the following decade developed a portfolio of technologies, and two 1st generation products in this field: EndoAssist, a laparoscopic camera controller; and Pathfinder Neuro, the image-guided positioner for stereotactic neurosurgery. Armstrong changed its name to Prosurgics in September 2006 to reflect the positive evolution of the company as it augmented its strong technological foundations to become a truly customer focused and commercially led business.

The Jiglu products were developed by Kinomi Ltd, a London-based software product company with a highly-experienced board and development team. Established in 2003, it has secured several rounds of venture funding. Kinomi's Jiglu products are part of the next generation of intelligent discovery, helping making sense of unstructured content and supporting community and collaboration around it.

Im-Pak Technologies Ltd. develops injection compression molding technology by using injection-moulding machines for the manufacture of plastic packing. Its products are used in thin wall articles such as margarine containers, ice cream buckets, yogurt pots, and bottles. The company was founded in March, 2003 and is headquartered in Chichester, UK.
