It was founded in 2007 as a spin-out from a proprietary trading unit of Deutsche Bank AG. The firm is a subsidiary of Arrowgrass Capital Partners II LLP, which is owned by Arrowgrass Capital Partners LLP in the Great Britain. Arrowgrass US serves as an investment advisor with discretionary trading authority for private pooled investment vehicles, the securities of which are offered to investors on a private placement basis.
