Matthew A. N. Balthazar

Mr. Balthazar was a Co-founder of Asanté Partners.
He joined after graduating from Brown University, and even as a 21 year-old, he had an innate ability to grasp the dynamics of the business world.
He brought extraordinary enthusiasm and energy to his work and an ability to achieve far beyond his age.
Mr. Balthazar cared passionately about our clients and about the formation and guiding principles of Asanté Partners.
His confidence in our team and our business was critical to our decision to establish an independent firm.
Mr. Balthazar was diagnosed with leukemia in June of 1999.
With tremendous support from his family and friends, he underwent multiple modes of therapy at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute over the course of three years.
After a courageous and tenacious battle with his cancer, Mr. Balthazar died on May 8, 2002.
