Mahmoud Shaker

Mahmoud Shaker is the Compliance Officer at Tactex Asset Management.
He is responsible for ensuring Moka’s daily operations are in compliance with investment, anti-money laundering, and financial reporting regulations.
Mahmoud also provides operational and compliance support to Tactex’ portfolio managers and dealing representatives.
Additionally, Mahmoud serves on the firm’s compliance committee and assists in the continuous development of internal controls, policies, and procedures to enhance Tactex’ compliance program and keep up with regulatory updates.
Before joining Tactex, Mahmoud worked in the operations department at Sportlogiq, an AI-driven sports analytics start-up and previously one of Tactex’ sister portfolio companies.
Mahmoud graduated from McGill University, with a dual-major Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science.
