Lorenzo R. Schmid

Mr. Lorenzo R.
Schmidt has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mindset Holding since 2005 and of mindset Ag since its incorporation in 2007.
He furthermore acts as the Head of Investor Relations at Mindset Holding and holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of CommCept AG, a company he founded in 1986.
Mr. Schmid has over 30 years of experience in Swiss securities, banking and private equity sectors and is one of the leading figures in the Swiss venture capital industry.
Through his CommCept AG, he has been involved in the Swiss private and public small- and mid-caps market, running among others the largest collective Swiss investment vehicle specialized in Swiss small- and mid-caps.
Between 1986 and 1993, Mr. Schmid was actively involved in fund raising activities for Canadian and North American companies in the oil and gas, construction and air traffic control sectors.
In 1994, he was responsible for the expansion financing of Kieser Training AG, the largest medical health and fitness workout franchise in the german speaking part of Europe.
