Mr. Van Cruyningen has 10 years experience in equity research.
He started his career at Smith New Court, where he was a member of the number one rated Dutch equity research team, subsequently maintaining that performance following the company’s acquisition by Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Van Cruyningen then joined Enskilda Securities as one of a team of three to establish a pan-European thematic/ideas driven research product, after which he joined HSBC as part of the global software research team.
Mr. Van Cruyningen also has industry experience, having worked in the technology sector with the US software vendor Oracle Corporation.
He joined Libertas Capital in January 2004 to help establish the securities and operations.
Mr. Van Cruyningen holds an MSc in Econometrics and International Finance and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Surrey.
