WIELAND Investment Director Mr. Wieland is in charge of Zukunftsfonds Heilbronn’s cleantech investment portfolio.
He previously held managing positions for more than 25 years in industry and business consulting, including fields such as strategy and innovation management.
His areas of special expertise are the energy, automotive and IT industries.
He co-founded one of Germany’s first major public-private partnerships and occasionally operates as a business angel in the early-stage segment.
During his period as business consultant, he supervised a large number of projects for investment companies.
Today, he works with startup businesses as a member or chairman of their respective supervisory boards by actively providing strategic, financial and, if requested, operational advice in matters of corporate governance, while also making use of his extensive industrial network for additional support.
Mr. Wieland studied engineering and business administration and holds a doctorate degree in electrical engineering.
