Gerhard is a member of the investment team and leads due diligence and monitoring of European buyout and venture funds.
In particular, he oversees the European venture activities of APEP.
Prior to joining APEP, Gerhard worked for the alternative assets department within Allianz AG where he was responsible for monitoring Allianz's long term industrial holdings in the steel, automotive and telecom sectors.
Gerhard holds an MSc and MBA equivalent and a PhD in law.
He currently represents APEP on several advisory boards.
