Kuwait Investment Office (KIO) is the Great Britain-based branch office of government-owned Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). The firm was founded in 1953 as the Kuwait Investment Board with a mandate to invest surplus oil revenue and reduce Kuwait’s reliance on a single finite resource. They became an autonomous body in 1982. Headquartered in the City of London, KIO actively manages funds entrusted to the KIA by the Minister of Finance for and on behalf of the State of Kuwait.

Hermes Investment Management Ltd. (HIML) is an asset management firm headquartered in London, UK. They are a subsidiary of Federated Hermes Ltd., ultimately held by Federated Hermes, Inc. (NYSE: FHI) in the US. In 1990, the firm was founded as PostTel, subsequently changing their name to PosTel Financial Asset Management Ltd. They changed their name to Hermes Investment Management Ltd. in 1995. HIML provides discretionary and non-discretionary investment management services to institutional clients.
