Colin Black is responsible for product management and development.
He also has responsibility for investment services provided to our affiliates within AEGON in the UK.
Colin gained a BSc (honours) at the University of Glasgow in mathematics, and has worked for AEGON since graduating in 1985.
He has been a fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries since 1990.
He had spells on the bond, UK equity and European desks before taking over as head of the bond/treasury desk in 1992.
He was appointed to the investment management board as investment actuary, responsible for asset/liability management and overseeing the fixed income and dealing teams in 1996.
Two years later Colin assumed responsibility for control and compliance, and in 1999 was appointed to the board of AEGON Asset Management.
He assumed responsibility for Insured Business in 2002, and Product in 2006.
