Nick Kounis

Mr. Nick Kounis is a Head of Financial Markets & Sustainability Research at ABN AMRO Bank NV.
He leads the financial markets and sustainability research teams at Group Economics.
This involves a diverse set of research areas.
From the outlook for the ECB, interest rates and various asset classes on the one hand, to climate and transition scenarios and ESG analysis of economies and markets on the other.
Mr. Kounis is also a member of the bank’s Global Investment Committee.
He has worked in various roles involving macroeconomics and market analysis at financial institutions for more than 20 years.
Prior to that, he advised on economic policy at HM Treasury in London.
