Mr. Joseph Higgins, CFA MBA, is a Portfolio Manager & Head of Multi-Sector at TIAA-CREF Investment Management LLC and a Senior Managing Director at Teachers Advisors LLC.
He is a Portfolio Manager for Nuveen’s global fixed income team.
He is the head of multi-sector portfolio management and lead portfolio manager responsible for the Core Bond and Core Plus strategies and a member of the Investment Committee, which establishes investment policy for all global fixed income products.
Mr. Higgins was previously employed as a Principal by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
He received his undergraduate degree from The State University of New York and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
