Mr. Kutka became General Manager of Southern Area Purchasing for United States Steel in Houston, Texas, Manager of Business Planning at the former Geneva-Pittsburg Works in Provo, Utah and District Sales Manager for U.
S.
Steel in Detroit.
He returned to United States Steel's Pittsburgh headquarters in 1993 as General Manager of Human Resources and became General Manager of Business Process Reengineering and General Manager of Marketing & Planning for Sheet Products and served as General Manager-Automotive in the Detroit area in 1997.
In 2001, Mr. Kutka was Vice President-Commercial at United States Steel's Pittsburgh headquarters.
He was appointed President of United States Steel International, Inc. in 2002.
In 2005, he was appointed Senior Vice President-Commercial of United States Steel and was named Senior Vice President-Sales & Customer Service in 2008.
Mr. Kutka is a Member of the American Iron and Steel Institute and serves as Chairman of its Market Development Committee.
He is a Director of Family House, Inc. in Pittsburgh.
He received a degree in Accounting from the University of Akron in 1970.
