Don Herman

Mr. Herman is a founding partner at Formative Ventures, where he brings more than 20 years of operational experience to the firm.
He is responsible for all of FV's legal, financial and administrative matters, including financial reporting and limited partner communications.
Prior to joining Formative, he founded Herman Resources, a consulting firm that provided services to early stage start-up companies in areas such as executive search, compensation and employment law.
He also served as vice president and corporate officer at TelCom Semiconductor, a publicly traded analog and mixed signal semiconductor company, where he managed the human resource and information technology departments.
Prior to TelCom, he was staffing director at VLSI Technology and prior to VLSI, he spent 15 years at Schlumberger, LTD in several management roles.
Mr. Herman started his career as an engineer, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
