Charles David Hamilton

Mr. Hamilton joined FTN Midwest in February 2006.
Prior to joining FTN Midwest, he spent 26 years in the insurance industry, having begun his career as a commercial underwriter at Federated Mutual Insurance Company (1979 to 1984).
After attending business school at Cornell, he joined predecessor companies of Willis North America, where he held a number of positions, including: chief administrative officer (1992-1996), and chief financial officer (1996-2003).
He subsequently joined First Acceptance Corporation in 2004, ending in 2005, as chief financial officer.
Mr. Hamilton's expertise covers a broad range of underwriting, operational, and financial aspects of both insurance brokers and property & casualty companies.
Mr. Hamilton is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS from the University of Wisconsin.
